I understand the importance of your privacy, and I'm committed to protecting the personal information you share with me. This policy explains what I collect, how I use it, and how you can reach me with questions or requests.

Information I Collect

Depending on how you interact with my website or my business, I may collect: your name, email address, phone number, and mailing or shipping address; payment information, handled directly by my payment processor (I do not store your full card details myself); and basic technical information such as browser type and device information, collected through cookies as described below.

How I Use Your Information

I use this information to respond to your inquiries, process and fulfill orders, communicate with you about a commission or purchase, and — only if you've subscribed — send newsletter or promotional updates. I do not use your information for direct marketing unless you've given consent to receive it, and you may withdraw that consent at any time.

Cookies

My website uses cookies that are necessary for basic functionality — for example, keeping items in your cart and maintaining your session while you browse. I do not currently use Google Analytics or similar third-party tracking/advertising cookies. If that changes in the future, I will update this policy to reflect it. You can control or disable cookies through your browser's settings at any time, though some site features may not work correctly without them.

Sharing Your Information

I do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. I share it only where necessary to run my business:

Payment processing — through Stripe, Square, or eTransfer, depending on how you complete your purchase (online or in person at an event). These processors handle your payment details directly under their own privacy and security practices.
Print fulfillment — when you purchase an Artist Edition, your name and shipping address are shared with whichever of my print partners produces that piece. They receive only what's needed to produce and ship your order.
Website platform — my site is built and hosted on Pixpa, which processes data as needed to operate the site itself.

I may also disclose information if required by law.

Data Retention

I keep your personal information only as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy — for example, order records for as long as needed for tax, warranty, or customer service purposes — unless a longer period is required by law.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, update, or request deletion of your personal information. To do so, contact me via my Contact Page. If you have a concern about how your information has been handled and don't feel it's been resolved, you also have the right to contact Alberta's Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner.

Newsletter & Marketing Communications

If you sign up to receive my newsletter or promotional updates, I will only use your email address for that purpose, in line with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every email includes a way to unsubscribe, and I will honor that request promptly.

Children's Privacy

My website and services are not directed at children, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13.

I may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. I encourage you to check back periodically.
